Waiting for Transfers

What a week! 

A good week I might add. Now to start. That's the hard part.

It started off like a normal week. We had our district meeting, then tuesday i did divisions with elder Oleson again! Haha it was a blast. (Mom:we do divisions a few times a transfer to be able to learn from our peer elders.) Its pretty fun to be in the same district as people you know from the MTC. We get along really well so we just talked the whole time. That was great to be able to catch up and talk about whatever. They also have some really cool investigators in their area so it was fun to teach them as well. 
The next big thing was we had a baptism! haha Brisa finally got baptized this last friday. After all of the struggles we have had with her and her mom to get them baptized it was a huge relief to have the baptism and finally get her to be a member of this amazing church! She was so calm during it and just looked awesome in her white dress. :) so happy. Elder Eppich got to baptize her too so that was cool for him to have that opportunity! The only problem with the baptism was that we were going to show a movie....but the second counselor in the bishopric, didn't come....he just said he forgot and he was taking care of his kids at his house.....so apparently that means you can't bring them. But whatever, we didn't have the keys so no movie. Also Brisa's aunt was supposed to give a talk but didn't show up till 45 minutes after the baptism was supposed to start. Yeah I was getting really antsy. 
Next big thing is that we got to go to the Temple Open House! Wooohooo! haa we prayed so hard all week that we would have good weather because if it was raining the family we were going to take couldn't go because of their baby. She would get sick. We were walking to the pensh Friday night in rain so we weren't very hopeful....but when we woke up the next morning it was clear as clear can be, not a cloud in the sky! Haa we were so happy! But it was awesome there too. SO beautiful. I wanted to cry because its been a while since i have felt that spirit there. I walked into the celestial room and just felt like a blast of spirit-ified air. It was awesome :) And we will be having a conference with the north south and west missions where President Eyring will come and talk to us. SO that should be really amazing :) like our own personal general conference. 
Um....other than those things not a whole lot to say....or maybe those two things just outshined the rest of it. Probably that. Haha love you all though and sorry its short this week! I dont have a lot of desire to write today. Haha love you and have a fantastic week!!!!

QUESTIONS FROM MOM:

Did you ever finish reading JESUS THE CHRIST? Not yet I have like 150 pages left.

What parts of that book do you like the best? The last week of Christ's life. Its pretty in-depth and tells the reasons behind what Christ says and what the pharisees and people say. 

Are you and Eppich used to each other by now and "rolling with the punches?" yeah pretty much.

Who was the couple and baby in the pic at the open house? P*** and E****. The husband is excommunicated and the wife wants to get baptized but can't because they have to get married. Love them :)

Will you get to attend the dedication at the temple or via satellite? Via satellite. 

Will you get to see the youth cultural presentation in honor of the temple? We will be part of it! We are going to walk in singing some song....I dont know which one

What do you know about transfers? Hermana Carter at the OPen house implied we both may have to come in to the office at transfers, and transfers are on Thursday.

Are you still handwashing your clothes? Yeah but today we are taking them to a sister in the ward.

How white are your shirts if you ARE doing it yourself, haha? THey are pretty clean. Just get some spots on them from hanging them on the line. But they come out in the next wash.

Did you ever buy a second sweater ?(the one in the pic does look pretty long in the sleeves) NO....I haven't looked that hard because I' dont know where to look

Have you had anything dry-cleaned yet? No but I'm going to do my suit this week. And maybe my sweater.

Are you sleeping in your sleeping bag yet? Yeah its cold now. 

OK now to last week's letter: 

What caused you to have to go with your district leader to Moreno, i.e. is that a normal thing you just have to do once a transfer? We do divisions like once every other week.

So is Elder Oleson comps with the district leader? yeah

Can you take more pics of you pensh and companion, etc.  I w ill try.

Will you send pics soon?your getting like 20 today

What happend to guy who read B of M in 1998? i have no idea....but he liked to talk a lot. I dont think they have passed by again

Do you bless the Sacraent alot? no just like once or twice so far.

Do you ever have to speak in Sacrament meeting? Not yet.- just the first week in every ward.

How do you keep your shoes from getting soaked in the rain.  I wear my boots that are for the rain. THose low top Eccos we bought. havent gotten water in them yet. except when I stepped in a foot deep puddle.

Is it the humidity that causes you to freeze or the fact that you are super skinny? Haha probably both

do you want any recipes? no i got a book from elder oleson with some simple ones.....wait i want your mrs fields choc chip cookie one!!! 

Does your tea taste good cuz of sugar? haha partly. But without sugar its nasty.
