The week started off good. We just had  normal contacts and things like that. We haven't found anyone that great except for one guy we talked to that has listened to the missionaries before. We ended up leaving him a Book of Mormon, and we went back this past Friday to try to get into his house and teach him. But he couldnt. The good news was, that he read HALF of the book of mormon in 3 days.......i was absolutely astounded! Its so hard to get people here to read a little pamphlet let alone about 300 pages of the book of mormon! And when we asked him if he thought it was a true story he said well stuff like that has to be true. Cool right? I dont think he has a really strong testimony of it yet but its a lot of progress, really quick. FIrst time that has ever happened to me!

Last pday we went to a ¨Pizza Libre¨ where you pay like 31 pesos ad get as much pizza as you want. The old record between 4 missionaries was 54 pieces. We beat it by one. haha we were dying! but it was super fun. Then that Wednesday to Thursday I went to Moreno and did divisions with my good friend elder Oleson from the MTC! Haha it was such a fun day even though we didn't really find many people. We had fun talking about the MTC and stuff. We're pretty much on the same page in most things. it was super fun! OH! In other good news they fixed the shower in our pensh! We are officially bathing ourselves inside! haha it actually wasnt that bad before but its so much better now that I can remember what it was like inside. :) The only other cool thing that happened was that a kind of inactive family made us an asado last night complete with brownies! Brownies are not common at all here but the mom served a mission so she knew that north-americans really like them and made them especially for us. Haha i love that family! THe Oliva family. so awesome. The dad is actually a convert of elder Hart my first district leader. So that was a cool thing to find out.

Ok as far as investigators. We have José A. He is the one who is smoking still.....like one cigarette or a half cigarette a day. Its not that much but he still cant get baptized. We're working with him but its been difficult. Also we have Jackie and Brisa still and they want to be baptized. We are going to see if we can do it this weekend but it is more likely that it will happen the 18th. Its difficult as well. They all three have testimonies but are just struggling to make the commitment to be baptized.....super frustrating that people have agency. Also they both said they were going to come to church and neither of them came. Super frustrating. Other thanthose two, we have another José thats mom is a member and he really was scared about coming to church but in elders quorum they really took him in and explained EVERYTHING to him and I think he really liked it. But he works alot so we will see how often we can teach him. He is 35 if you're wondering. Love you all though and hope you are all having a great week. What are you plans today after the cyber?  nothing.....travel to our area and start working! haha yay mission life :)

I looked up Equador street in LaPerlita and it's all urban and highrises  compared to when I was looking up Ramos Mejia. And the guy from Buenos Aires said Ramos Mejia was a way better area than Aldo Bonzi and/ or La Perlita.   Is this more city than you are used to? or is this the busiest city you've served in? Its not like that at all! haha I think you looked at a different street. its really rural we dont even have an ATM. Its ecuador 5700 or something. that could be the problem, in Moreno.

Do you feel safe in La Perlita? Supposedly it's dangerous but we just stay out of the more dangerous parts at night. Its not a big deal

Is your apartment in a highrise? nope it's second story over the patriarch's house

Did you figure out the apartment number yet? haha i forgot to look sorry.

How are you and your companion getting along and what do you most like about him? very well. he always has a positive attitude. Always looks on the good side of things.

Any more  spiritual experiences that you can share? When the elders quorum was explaining what they do to José i knew he felt the spirit. it was way cool to see how well they fellowshipped him.

Is your cold gone and all better, and are you feeling 100%? not 100% but like 95% 

Whatever happened to that tree you cut down with the machete and how's your hand? still standing.....were going back this tuesday to finish and my hand is fine
