12th Week in Chivilcoy Sur

Well this was a great week!  However, I have been trying to get over a nasal infection which is just killing me. I have never had this before....haha I don't recommend it! Anyway this is what happened last week.

We had our zone meeting finally on Thursday! And guess who showed up? President and his assistants! it was a great meeting and we were able to excite the zone a lot to have a good month and really improve themselves as missionaries. It was a great meeting really. We were treated to chicken pot pie afterwards by Brother and sisterr Alldredge  and that was just fantastic! :) So a really great day on Thursday. 

Other news....we finally talked to Natalia again and got her to commit to come to church yesterday but....she didn't show up. We still haven't had an actual lesson with her though because she is always super busy(supposedly) but seems great really. So we are looking forward to seeing if she will be getting baptized this month or next. Probably next. Another new investigator we found is jewish and lived in the states for 30 years. Sadly he was more interested in not losing his english than listening about some gold bible and a guy named Joe Smith. He actually said that at the end. So that was a bust...super interesting guy though. He has visited like 20 countries and served in the 6 day war in Israel. So it was a fun lesson at least. Other than those people,  no super good new investigators.

Sunday was eventful. We had the confirmation of Maria finally! And president Carter was there too. He came to release Elder Blackburn as the branch president and put in Elder Alldredge. Eventful for sure. Also we had a super miracle! Diego....if you all remember him...I taught him with Elder Wilson and he was going to get baptized last month but he lost interest bad. He showed up to church yesterday though and said he isn't doing too well and wants to come back to church! So that was surprising! We were really happy. Gladis also came to church and is still looking for her answer....not sure what to do to help her more. Anyway thats all. It was a good week.

Love you all, if you have a question about the church you can read the Book of Mormon. It's crazy how much stuff and doctrine that book contains. Weird that some people think its just a cool story.....love you all and have a great week!

Will you share another experience when you felt the spirit working inside you or guiding you? In our planning. We were done planning and I just didn't feel right with our plans. My comp said ok lets go to bed but I thought...."no something is missing" so I pulled out the area book and looked for someone to visit....well that person ended up being a super great less active who wants to come back to church and has two family members that aren't baptized... :) great experience

In your picture holding 2 eggs, what kind of egg is the bigger one and was that the one you cooked? yeah it was a goose egg....its one and the same. it was huge!

At your zone meeting, what are you and you comp doing standing in front? we have to give the lesson because it was our meeting.

How did Sister Aldredge's lunch taste to you? it was pretty good!  I miss american food

Is Brother Aldredge Branch Pres yet? yep, as of yesterday.
